Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.
Moorside Primary School offers a range of childcare provision which we have listed below:
Wraparound Care
As many parents now work as a school we recognise the importance of Wraparound Childcare. School provides a free breakfast club which runs from 8:00 a.m. daily and we also offer a range of after school clubs which can be found in our clubs section.
In our nursery and 2 year old provision, we are flexible with our childcare to meet the needs of parents. We offer full days, lunch clubs and additional sessions (to be purchased) as well as the government’s 30 hour free childcare scheme and 15 hours free scheme for 2-year-olds. The eligibility for qualifying for either of these schemes is very different. You can check whether you are eligible for the free 30 hours via the eligibility tracker at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk . To find out more about the 2-year old places, contact Mrs Pears in our office. Further information about what we provide in the EYFS and the additional sessions that can be purchased can be found in the EYFS Brochure 2017-18.
