2017-18 School Councillors
2016-17 School Councillors
We are the School Council. We are very important in school because we have been elected by our class members and we help to make the school better. Our teachers are amazing as they always help and encourage us to do our best; we are so grateful for being able to come to this school. At the moment, we are raising money to develop the school yard. We would like a graffiti chalk board and some markings on the ground. Also, we would like to extend the adventure playground and paint it with pretty colours so it matches the EYFS outdoor area. Additionally, we enjoy taking on different roles in school and completing different jobs. We meet every half term to raise any issues and discuss how we can improve further.
Feedback on the proposed new school uniform (written by our School Councillors):
New School Uniform
The colour of the new uniform is purple . The skirt is tartan with purple and grey patterns. The boys trousers are grey . Shirts are white but seeing as we are having a purple and grey tie we need special ones with clips. School are giving out one free jumper at the start of next year with the badge on but cardigans and hoodies with the badge on are also available to buy from a link on the school website. Reading folders are purple once again with the badge printed on. We are now selling backpacks to use as school bags .

Jumpers/Cardigans
The children said they like the feel of the material and like the brightness.
T-shirts/Ties
They think it’s a good idea of having ties they said it could make them look smarter. The children also enjoy the idea of clip-on ties instead of actual ties.
Coats
The children said they like the idea of having the badge printed on the coat and it being waterproof.
Bag/Backpack
The children like the bigger space in the bag they think it will fell nicer on their shoulders.
