Our School Day
Here is a breakdown of our school day:
We request that all children arrive promptly and before 8:55 a.m. so pupils can start their day promptly. Anyone arriving after 9:00 a.m. will be asked to sign their child in via the late book. This enable us to ensure all children are safely in school and maintain accurate attendance records. KS2 pupils by law have a longer teaching week than KS1 pupils.
During the school day a certain amount of time is spent on registration, the daily act of collective worship, playtime and lunchtime. The remaining time is lesson time. The structure of the school day is as follows:

Assembly/Collective Worship
This takes place for 15 minutes each day, the time of which may vary throughout the week and maybe a whole school or class assembly. As part of our class assemblies, children take part in a structured personal and social education programme known as R Time.
